4f57f036f0Vida Movahed, who was arrested because of her public protest against the Islamic compulsory law of the Hijab and restricted women’s rights is conditionally released from prison after massive international pressure on the Islamic regime. Under a peaceful protest on Revolution Street in Tehran, she used her white head scarf as a white flag as a sign for a nonviolence protest. She is 31 years old and she has a 19 month old daughter.  (more…)

Reza Shahabi’s activities in defence of the rights of workers in Iran are entirely within the framework of the internationally recognized standards and the ILO conventions.
